2021 SACE results, Dux announced

We are thrilled to share the SACE results for the Class of 2021 with the wider Blackfriars community.

“We are so proud of the Class of 2021 and the results they have achieved,” Principal Simon Cobiac said.

“100% of our students completed their SACE, and more than 42% of our students’ grades were As – Blackfriars’ best ever result.

“What’s more, our median ATAR was 81.3, compared with the state average for male students of 72.7.

“For this cohort, who have completed SACE against the backdrop of a global pandemic and the associated uncertainty and disruption, these are simply outstanding results.”

Dux

Brandon Truong, with an ATAR of 99.60, is our 2021 Dux. As well as achieving a merit in Biology as a Year 11 student, Brandon achieved A+ grades in Research Project (also completed in Year 11) and Religion Studies.

Proxime Accessit

Harry Hieu Vu is our 2021 Proxime Accessit, with an ATAR of 98.95. Harry was awarded an A+ for English.
