Enrolment enquiry

We warmly encourage you to contact us with any questions regarding enrolling your son at Blackfriars, or your son or daughter at the Blackfriars ELC.

Enrolment enquiries, including requests to have an enrolment package sent to you, can be made by completing the online form below, or by contacting our Registrar, Linda Gavranic during school office hours on 8169 3954 or email.

Enrolment process – Reception to Year 12

We invite you to submit an Application for Enrolment form along with:

A copy of your son’s birth certificate or visa;
A copy of your son’s most recent school report (not applicable for Reception applicants); and
The $50 application fee (non-refundable).

If applicable, we encourage you to provide the following documents with the application form:

A copy of your son’s sacramental certificates (for e.g. Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation)
A reference from your Priest, Pastor, Minister or similar
Documentation relating to special needs (e.g. reports, action plans, assessments)
Court order(s) or related information regarding the custody of your son.

Once we receive the completed Application for Enrolment form, you will receive a letter confirming its receipt. Due to the competitive nature of enrolments, we recommend submitting the Enrolment Application Form at least two years prior to commencement.

Approximately 18-months before your son is due to commence, we will contact you to arrange an interview with a member of our Executive Team. Your son must be present at this interview.

The interview will help us to get to know your son and family, and provides you with an opportunity to get to know us better and ask any questions.

Following a successful interview (and an available vacant place), we will then issue a Letter of Offer and other paperwork to be returned to us along with a $350 acceptance fee (non-refundable).

If there are no vacancies available, your son will be placed on our waiting list and will be issued with a Letter of Offer once a place becomes available.
