Semester 1 ELC graduation

Blackfriars this week celebrated a special milestone for some of our littlest students. Our mid-year graduation ceremonies for the Blackfriars ELC were held over two mornings, Wednesday and Thursday, so all of the graduates’ families could partake in the occasion.

Graduating students took their place at the front of the Green Room to be interviewed by Ms McEntee about their favourite parts of their time at ELC. Then Head of Primary, Mr Ali, presented each child with their graduation certificate and an all-important fist bump before teachers handed out their graduation bags containing a portfolio of their work from ELC and a number of other special goodies.

The boys and girls graduating this semester are heading off to a range of schools, but we’re very lucky to be keeping some of them here at Blackfriars, where they will enter Ms Schenk’s Reception class next term.

What’s more, the boys who join our Reception class will get to visit their ELC friends every Friday, as they come together for a reading session each week.
