On Friday 6 March, Blackfriars held our 51st annual Primary Swimming Carnival at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre. It was a fantastic day to spend with our staff, students and families, and the boys showed fantastic house and school spirit as they cheered on their friends in the pool.
Secondary students were on-hand to assist less confident swimmers and to help out with timing races, while Mr Ali had a starring role on the mic, commentating the day. It was a hard-fought battle for first place all day, but ultimately Cussen surged ahead in the final events to take the title. Here are the big results, as well as a gallery of some of our favourite photos from the day.
