And just like that, we’re back into a new term of co-curricular activities. There’s heaps happening this term, so make sure you pay attention to the co-curricular tab on SEQTA and during Thursday morning meetings to keep up with the news.

Also just a reminder to all students and families to please stay across the latest health advice regarding coronavirus and social distancing practices. While SA Health has given us the clear to proceed with sports at this stage, we always wish to err on the side of caution. That means minimal spectators, maintaining 1.5m distance apart, washing hands/using hand sanitiser regularly and so on.

Now, let’s recap what was a bit of a mixed round for the hounds…

Game of the week:

Our First XVIII put on a fantastic display of Football against Scotch College only to lose by 19 points. The boys stuck it out admirably, clawing their way back to win the third quarter, and only just to lose in the fourth. Mr Knowles, Ms Comley and Mr Cobiac are very proud of your performance boys, and the way you represented the school.

Hound of the week:

Our Hound of the week is Adam Grant, from our Senior A Basketball team. Adam has been consistently putting in hard work and scoring 10 points per game. Keep up the excellent work Adam, showing the spirit of a true Hound!
