Co-curricular results: Term 1, Week 5

A reminder to all that there are no games this weekend due to the public holiday. As we start to look towards winter sports, I remind you all to keep an eye on SEQTA and notices for trials, training times and other details.

Game of the week:

I have been very impressed with the results, sportsmanship and attitudes of all the Blackfriars boys involved in co-curricular this term.

However, rivalry runs deep for our Hounds, so when our Year 7B Cricket team got the win against CBC by one solitary run (9/98 – 8/97) I was ecstatic. Well done boys!

Hound of the week:

Hound of the Week for week 5 is Jonah De Vizio, from our Senior Tennis team winning his singles and doubles match 6–0. I am not just impressed by Jonah’s match results, but also his attitude and commitment towards trainings and games. Keep it up!
