Academic Honour Roll

Study is one of the Four Pillars of Blackfriars, and academic success is formally celebrated in several ways. The publishing of an Academic Honour Roll has a long tradition at Blackfriars. At the end of each semester we acknowledge students who have achieved an Award for Effort, Honours, High Honours and Highest Honours.

Congratulations to all Honour Roll boys for their dedication over Semester 1. We hope the Honour Roll continues to serve as an inspiration for all boys to do their very best academically.

St Albert the Great Shield

In addition, based on the Honour Roll, Blackfriars has an academic competition between houses. The winning house for the previous semester is announced at the first assembly of the following term. The overall winning house for the year is presented with the St Albert Shield for Academic Excellence at the Laureate Assembly in the new year.
